Nina Schultz

Dear Members of New Westminster Community,

All of you must know, the New Westminster citizen, a nineteen years old Canadian Track and Field Champion, Nina Schultz. Schultz is a 2016 NWSS graduate student, and athlete of New West Spartans Track and Field Club, since 2007 when she was 9 years old.

Nina, was recruited under the “Fitness Fun for Kids” program, leaded by the head coach of New West Spartans, Tatjana Mece, and supported by Carol Cheremkora and Chinu Das, of school district # 40.

She competed at two world championships, on 2015, in Cali-Columbia, and on 2016, in Budgoscz, Poland, ranked # 4 in the World IAAF list for junior category.

Nina helped the NWSS for winning two consecutive BC High School Champion banner and has 13 BC HS Champion titles.

The sophomore at Kansas State University, is ranked now for 2018, # 1 in the World at IAAF List for Heptathlon with 6018 point.

Athletics Canada, announced the Athletics Canada 2017 Annual Award Finalists, and Nina Schultz is one of the finalists for two Awards category:

  1. Lyle Sanderson Award, for Combined Events Athletes of the Year.
  2. Eric. E. Coy Trophy, for the Best U 20 Athlete of the year.

Please, consider to inform all the New Westminster community, for Nina Schultz 2017 achievement, to support her for winning the deserved awards.

The New Westminster community, is proud that Nina Schultz, is now in Queensland – Australia, representing Canada at Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She will compete in Heptathlon, on April 12, and 13.

It will be great if she can received a support from all of you and our community, to encourage and motivate her towards the podium medal.
This will be a great achievements for all of us beside other success of our community.
